Description

This is a great low-fat cheese ball that is perfect for a Holiday appetizer. It is easy to make and tastes so good! This recipe was inspired by Happy Herbivore.

  • ✓ 1/2 of a block of firm tofu (drained but not pressed)
  • ✓ 3/4 cup chickpeas (cooked)
  • ✓ 1/4 cup nutritional yeast plus 3 tablespoons
  • ✓ 1 1/2 tablespoon chickpea miso
  • ✓ 1 1/2 teaspoons of mustard, yellow, or brown mustard or dijon mustard
  • ✓ 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • ✓ 1/4 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ✓ 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • ✓ 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ✓ regular of smoked paprika for garnish
  • ✓ pumpkin seeds for garnish
  • ✓ fresh parsley for garnish
  • ✓ Crackers, raw vegetables for serving
  1. Put all ingredients (except paprika, pumpkins seeds and parsley) in a food processor, process until well combined. It will begin to form a ball
  2. Put mixture in a bowl and use a spatula to form into a ball
  3. Chill for 3 hours
  4. Cover the cheese ball with paprika, pumpkin seeds and fresh parsley
  5. Serve with crackers, carrots, celery, and other raw vegetables
