Southern Roasted Broccoli

  • ✓ 2 medium - 8 ounce broccoli bunches, trimmed
  • ✓ 1⁄2 cup of nutritional yeast
  • ✓ 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ✓ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • ✓ 1 small lemon, quartered
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Wash broccoli and leave it wet. Leaving it wet will allow the seasoning to stick to the broccoli.
  3. Toss the wet broccoli with, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper
  4. Place the broccoli florets on a large rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Arrange lemon quarters in corners of sheet pan.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven until charred and stems are tender, about 15 minutes.
  6. Squeeze charred lemons over the broccoli.
  7. Serve immediately.
