This is a colorful and flavorful pesto that can go with any pasta.
✓ 1 cup packed fresh basil
✓ 1 cup packed fresh parsley
✓ 2 cups packed kale
✓ 1⁄4 cup hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, or cashews
✓ 4 large cloves garlic, peeled and minced
✓ 1⁄4 teaspoon iodized salt
✓ 2 tablespoons lemon juice
✓ 1⁄4 cup nutrition yeast
✓ 4-6 tablespoons filtered water
Instructions
Wash all the greens and take the stems off.
Add all but the water to a food processor and blend until a paste is formed. Add a bit of filtered water and scrape down the sides. Blend again and add in more water until you get the consistency that you would like. (thick, yet pourable sauce)
Taste and adjust ingredients as you like.
Add to your favorite cooked pasta and serve right away.
