Jill's Game Changer Cheese Sauce

  • ✓ 2 Cups rolled oats
  • ✓ 1/2 Cups nutritional yeast flakes
  • ✓ 1/4 Cup cornstarch
  • ✓ 2 teaspoons onion granules
  • ✓ 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • ✓ 1 12-oz jar Roasted Red Bell Peppers in water. You can substitute sun dried tomatoes in oil, just rinse them off before using them
  • ✓ 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ✓ 1/4 teaspoon pecan, apple or regular liquid smoke
  • ✓ 4 Cups warm water
  1. Blend on high for 5 minutes.
  2. Cook the amount you would like on low heat until warmed through. Stirring constantly with a whisk.
  3. Store the rest in a container in the refrigerator and warm up the amount you want as needed. I have stored it for up to three weeks with no issues.
  4. Cut corn tortillas into triangles and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
  5. Place baked tortilla triangles on a plate, cover with cheese sauce and add your favorite toppings such as black beans, vegan no fat refried beans, onions, tomatoes, black olives and jalapenos, salsa and hot sauce.
