  • ✓ 4 large portabella mushroom caps, cleaned and destemmed
  • ✓ 1 cup water
  • ✓ 1⁄2 teaspoon vegetable bouillon
  • ✓ 1 teaspoon minced garlic, (2 cloves worth)
  • ✓ 2 Tablespoons low sodium soy sauce (or Tamari)
  • ✓ 3 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • ✓ 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ✓ 1⁄2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ✓ 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
  1. In a small bowl, add everything but the mushrooms and mix it all up.
  2. In a separate large bowl place the mushrooms (gill side up). Either spread them out, or stagger them stacked.
  3. Pour the seasoning mixture on the mushrooms and let them marinate for about 20 – 30 minutes. (while the grill is preheating up to 350 degrees).
  4. Cook on top rack of grill for about 5 minutes each side, until a bit tender with grill marks. Can use marinade to brush on tops of mushrooms while grilling (An adult would need to cook on grill).
