Ginger Banana Smoothie

  • ✓ 2 Bananas, ripe
  • ✓ 2 cups frozen fruit/berries
  • ✓ 1 cup nondairy milk (try almond milk or soy milk for the best flavor)
  • ✓ 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ✓ 1⁄2 inch piece ginger, thinly sliced
  • ✓ 1⁄2 cup ice (optional)
  1. Combine the ingredients in a blender.
  2. Start your blender on the lowest setting and slowly crank up the setting as the smoothie start to puree.
  3. Add ice and more nondairy milk as necessary to achieve desired consistency and blend for about 2 minutes.
