  • ✓ 3 cups unsweetened coconut chips
  • ✓ 4 tablespoons low sodium tamari or Braggs liquid aminos
  • ✓ 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave nectar
  • ✓ 2 tablespoons low sodium vegetable broth
  • ✓ 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ✓ 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
  • ✓ 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ✓ 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • ✓ 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, use a whisk to mix all ingredients (except coconut) until well combined.
  3. Pour coconut chips in bowl and mix until all coconut is covered.
  4. Place coconut on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, make sure to flip coconut after 8 minutes.
  6. If after 15 minutes coconut is not a golden brown, cook for 5-minute intervals until it has turned golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool before refrigerating.
