Description

Enjoy this slightly sweet hummus with a tang of ginger. It’s so easy to make and is
perfect as a dip or sandwich spread.

425g can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 1⁄2 cups carrots, cooked
1 tablespoon tahini
1 small garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1⁄4 teaspoon turmeric
Pinch of salt
Enough water to thin hummus to desired consistency (approximately 2-4
tablespoons)

1. Place all ingredients up to and including salt in a food processor and blend
for 30 seconds.
2. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
3. Transfer mixture to a bowl and enjoy.
