Description

I used three types of tortillas to make chips. I used whole wheat tortillas to make cinnamon baked chips, almond tortillas to make lime baked chips and corn tortillas to make lime chips.

I) CINNAMON BAKED CHIPS

  • 6 tortillas of your choice
  • 1⁄4 cup aquafaba
  • 1-2 tablespoons cinnamon

II) LIME BAKED CHIPS

  • ✓ 6 tortillas of your choice
  • ✓ 1⁄4 cup lime juice
  • ✓ 1 teaspoon salt (optional)

I) CINNAMON BAKED CHIPS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet then place a cooking rack on top of the parchment paper.
  3. Cut tortillas into 12 triangles.
  4. Put aquafaba in a bowl.
  5. Dip tortilla triangles in the aquafaba to coat evenly.
  6. When tortillas are coated with aquafaba, sprinkle cinnamon on top coating the entire triangle.
  7. Place the triangles on the rack making sure they do not overlap.
  8. Back for 8 – 10 minutes until lightly browned. (They will firm more as they cool).

  6. When tortillas are coated with lime juice, sprinkle optional salt on top coating the entire triangle.
  7. Place the triangles on the rack making sure they do not overlap.
  8. Back for 8 – 10 minutes until lightly browned. (They will firm more as they cool).
