Saute onion, using a water or vegetable broth saute method.
Add garlic, saute 2 more minutes
Add chopped mushrooms, cooks for additional 5 minutes
Sprinkle flour and stir to coat mixture
Continue to whisk as you add the veggie broth and then the flax milk.
Season with salt and pepper.
Simmer on low heat for 5-6 minutes until sauce becomes thick and all lumps are gone.
Add the green beans, toss to coat over a low heat for 4-5 minutes.
Place into a casserole dish, top with crunchy onions.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
