Description

Adapted from Mango-Raspberry Chia Pudding recipe from Dr. Greger’s book How Not to Diet (page 195). As suggested in the book I substituted peaches in place of mangos, as they are readily available in the summer. Experiment with this recipe using your favorite fruits.

  • ✓ 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • ✓ 1 cup fresh or frozen peaches (cut in small slices)
  • ✓ 4 tablespoons ground chia seeds
  • ✓ 1⁄2 cup of water (a few tablespoons extra might be necessary if the mix is too thick to whiz in the blender)
  1. Put all the fruit and the water in your blender and blend until smooth,
  2. Once all smooth then add the ground chia seeds and blend again until well mixed. I prefer to add the ground chia seeds into the blender, as opposed to adding to individual bowls as suggested in the book.
  3. Pour mixture in two bowls or suitable jars, cover and refrigerate. It makes rather filling amounts for 2 bowls. You may wish to use smaller bowls or jars and make 4 servings of this yummy dessert.
  4. Garnish with more berries & fruits, whipped aquafaba or your choice of ingredients.
