✓ ½ cup of densely packed date paste (or about 10 pitted medjool dates)
✓ 8-10 tablespoons of plant-based milk (I used soy milk)
✓ ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
Add all ingredients in a high-speed blender and whiz until creamy. If you start with a soft date paste use less soy milk and adjust the consistency by adding more soy milk 1 tablespoon at a time. Depending on your dates, you may need more soy milk or a little water to adjust the consistency.
This recipe makes roughly ½ cup of caramel sauce. You may use it on your favorite desserts, ice cream, pancakes, oatmeal and so on. Be creative!
